Lupus
Throughout two years of doing test after test, doctors were supremely confused. Why was her hair falling out? What was causing the nausea she frequently battled? Why was she so lethargic and worn down? Why was she feeling so much pain, particularly in her joints?
At the end of those two years – which included at least four hospital visits each month – the doctors finally gave her an answer she had lupus, a chronic inflammatory disease where the immune system loses its ability to tell the difference between foreign substances and its own cells and tissues.
The immune system then makes antibodies directed against itself.
There is currently no cure for lupus. It often requires the sufferer to subsist on a number of medications, including steroids–something doctors said she needed to start taking. To that directive, she said “no,” turned her back on the doctors’ advice, and prayed that God would heal her.
In the meantime, she forced her husband,, to discuss what kind of funeral she wanted to have if something were to happen to her.
It was at this time, despite her extremely poor health, that she switched jobs and went from an office in finance to the factory floor at Chrysler. For the first few months she couldn’t understand why she had left her old job, especially in her condition, but it was there she met a great gal who also sufferer of lupus. Her friend had also lost her hair, but showed her how it was growing back. She told her over and over she knew what was causing her lupus and how she could get her health back but it took five months for her to listen. When she finally opened her heart to
Her friend solution, she was introduced to Wellness company and her life began to change.
When she went to her first Wellness Company presentation she ran into Executive Director, , who pulled her aside because of her health problems and explained the products to her in more depth. “She pulled me away and sat me down one-on-one,” She says. Executive Director knowledge
of the products coupled with her genuine care and concern for her gave her the confidence she needed. So she went to her doctor to get his opinion and he said she should give it a try.
After using the products for two weeks, She noticed that her energy levels were improving, and the doctors told her that her blood count was looking much better. By three months, she and her husband were no longer doing hospital runs, and by seven months, she reports that she felt almost
back to normal. “Today, I feel great,” she proudly says, with the conviction of someone who has experienced life-threatening health issues and seen them practically disappear.
It was during this turnaround that she realized why she had been suffering for so long and why she had been diagnosed with lupus. “The prolonged use of chemicals in household products created an imbalance in my body,” she reports. “It confused my immune system to the point where
it started attacking me instead of protecting me.”
“No one can predict how they will react to a certain chemical once they are exposed to it,” she continues. “No one can know how a chemical might be hurting them, what kind of damage it might be doing to their body.”
“My family members see the changes in me and they are astounded. They will be customers for the rest of their lives,” she exclaimed.
Since her enrollment in February of 2002, She has had time to reflect on God’s answer to her prayers. “I would like to thank God for healing my body and sending me to the Wellness Company to maintain His work. Going to that presentation changed my whole life,” She concludes.
“I have my quality of life back.”
